Green Juice

Have you ever felt like having a glass full of healthy juice? After all those wide range of binges, our body needs something we call healthy, wholesome and absorbable. Juices are the simplest and healthiest form of having our nutrients. Here is how to make a tasty and healthy green juice.

Green Juice
  • Handful of mint leaves
  • 4-5 big spinach leaves
  • Handful of coriander (stems intact)
  • 5 inches of peeled bottle gourd 
  • 5 inches of cucumber
  • Juice of 1 large lemon
  • Jaljeera powder
  • Black salt
  • Jaggery

Method:

  1. Take mint, spinchach, bottle gourd, cucumber, lemon juice, coriander and jaggery in a mixer jar and add a glass of water. Blend it to a juice.
  2. Strain the juice with a cheese cloth or strainer. Do not rub and try pressing out the last drop from the mixture. Just scrap gently so that the juice passes the strainer easily. 
  3. Take the remaining pulp in the mixer jar again and add a glass of water. Blend it for another time and strain it in the similar manner.
  4. Add Jaljeera and black salt as per the taste. 
Serving: This juice has to be consumed within 4 hours
