An other brown rice recipe from my kitchen. Try this mustard-jeera tempered cabbage rice with shallow fried peanuts. It may give you some serious diet goals 😂.
Ingredients:
➤ Cooked brown rice - 3 cups
➤ Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
➤ Jeera (Cumin seeds) - 1 tsp
➤ Green Chilly - 1
➤ Curry leaves - 3 to 4
➤ Chopped onions - 1/2 cup
➤ Finely chopped cabbage - 1/2 cup
➤ Finely chopped capsicum - 1/4 cup
➤ Grated carrot - 1/2 cup
➤ oil
➤ Sambhar powder
➤ Common spices and condiments.
Method:
➤ Heat some oil and temper mustard and cumin seeds.
➤ Add curry leaves and peanuts.
➤ Add onions and green chilly.
➤ Saute well and add other vegetables.
➤ Add cooked rice and mix well.
➤ Add sambhar powder, saute for a while and garnish with coriander leaves.
