You like fried rice but you are on a strict diet where you can't have extra calories? Well, so here's a simple recipe which you can have guilt free on your diet. You can have this instead of plain brown for dinner/lunch whenever you have to take carbs.
Ingredients:
- 3/4 bowl cooked brown rice
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 cup finely chopped carrots
- 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
- 2 tsp green chilly paste
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

- 1 tsp black pepper powder.
- Spring onion greens for garnishing.
Method:
1. Saute onions, ginger garlic paste and chilly paste till onions turn brown. 2. Add carrots and cabbage and saute till they get partly cooked. Add salt to accelarate the cooking process. 3. Add brown rice, salt, pepper powder and mix well. 4. Turn of the flame after 2-3 min. and garnish with spring onion greens. Give it a try and you'll start loving low calorie healthy food.
